If you’ve found your way here, welcome. I’m genuinely glad you did. There’s a good chance we already have something in common.

I suppose every author needs somewhere to exist beyond their name beneath a book title. I’ve decided this would be mine, a place to share the stories I’m writing and a little of what draws me to them.

Talking about my own writing still feels strangely intimate. I’m learning as I go, finding my voice one story at a time and discovering that courage often matters more than certainty. I don’t always know exactly what I’m doing, but I care enough to keep trying until the pieces begin to feel true.

What fascinates me most is not inventing characters so much as coming to understand them. I love reaching the point where their choices stop surprising me, not because they have become predictable, but because I finally know what moves them, what frightens them and how they have learned to make their way through the world. They reveal themselves through the people around them, through what they resist, recognize and awaken in one another, and sometimes through the smallest gesture exposing a truth they have not yet understood about themselves.

Not every story about love is a romance, and romance is never the only kind of love that matters. Friendship, family and belonging can shape a life just as profoundly. Still, romantic love has an extraordinary ability to place people at the edge of themselves. It asks them to risk being known, to make room for someone else and to decide what kind of person they are willing to become once their life no longer belongs to them alone.

I’m drawn to characters at that threshold, shaped by their circumstances but not necessarily confined by them, learning which parts of themselves they want to carry forward and which they are finally ready to challenge.
